Send us your research to feature in our ‘Notes from the Field’ showcase and mark LGBTQ+ History Month with us!

February is LGBTQ+ History Month 2025. This year’s theme is Activism and Social Change. The archaeology of the post-medieval period, also known as historical archaeology, studies the material culture of people during a period of enormous change. There were social, economic, technological and political upheavals around the globe.
Material culture/archaeological studies form an important strand of researching the past. We are marking LGBTQ+ History Month with a special series of ‘Notes from the Field’ focusing on LGBTQ+ histories and archaeologies, being carried out by our members.
If you would like your work to showcase in our series this month, please email the details to us. We look forward to hearing from you!
